For anyone having this issue, myself and a friend found a quick fix.
On PC (mobile does not work), go to settings > Family Center. It'll ask you to enter your age.
Once this is done, you should get your adult status back without having to do any verifying.

Unsurprisingly, this paragraph from Discord was a load of absolute wank.

(A word I can say because I am both an adult and from the UK. So begrudingly did age verify last year. Something you'd think would be information they already have that allows determining I'm an adult with high confidence).

If you're wondering why some of these questions seem out of pocket or rude, I'm pretty sure the site sends you generic anonymous ones on the reg that are written in such a way as to seem real. It keeps happening on mine too.

I've started playing the Mega Man Battle Network games recently (currently on 2) and they're fun games.

I just can't help but laugh every time the characters talk about how they're gonna jack in and oh here's a place you can jack in and oh look at that thing over here, you can totally jack in it.

It's fresher in my head due to a recent rewatch but they really do spam the shit out of that clip of Rob Paulsen making very specific noises.

In the second image, now Amy and Shadow are holding hands, holding takeaway coffee cups in their other hand. Sonic walks behind them, enthusiastically chugging his coffee. Shadow is calmly chatting to Amy, and Amy is listening attentively and again, blushing a bit with little hearts coming out of her head.

In this third image, by process of elimination, now Sonic and Shadow are holding hands. Sonic is leaning forward and swinging their arms forcefully, grinning mischivously towards Shadow who looks incredibly uncomfortable but it's not necessarily in an objectively-hating-it kind of way. Amy, now the one hanging back, is staring at the two holding hands intensely, with a very silly happy expression and an absolute explosion of blushing and little hearts compared to what she was producing when holding their hands herself.
