Today, on the two-year anniversary of a train crash in Greece that killed 57 people, a general strike took place to protest the complicity of the authorities in the conditions that caused the accident.

The crash was the result of the same capitalist kleptocracy we see in the US and elsewhere.

The significant thing is that the mechanisms of neoliberal capitalism are systematically concentrating power in the hands of people who are completely disinterested in others’ agency or well-being.
