Byleth confessed absentmindedly, drumming his fingers on the table as he stared at Felix with his piercing mint eyes.

"In truth...sometimes I merely enjoy roaming the monastery grounds as if things were the way they were five years ago. I miss those days."

"I'm gladdened to hear that."

Byleth states in usual, neutral sounding voice as he takes the seat Felix was gesturing towards.

"What are you eating. Not sweets, I take it?"

He jokes, the smallest of smiles appearing on his face as he gazes at the swordsman.
