No Evidence Supports Using Graded Exercise for ME/CFS Studies examining the effects of activity-based interventions haven’t required post-exertional malaise as a core criterion for the now-termed β€˜myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome.’

For those who still don’t know, Graded Exercise Therapy is not recommended and can be harmful for people with ME/CFS.

This clip from 2018 perfectly captures just how passionate @davetuller1.bsky.social is and how shocked he was by the way the PACE trial was defended.

His crowd funding has just 1 day to go and he’s ~$10k from his target. I’ve just donated again so he can carry on doing his important work

I think the difference is emphasis and focus. Harris ran on so many things, it muddled her policies. Mamdani was successful because he had 3 policies that almost everyone can recall. Sherrill ran on freezing the costs of electricity. The key is make your name synonymous with those policies.

For patients with Long Covid: you can now participate in a remote treatment trial of tirzepatide (a GLP-1 inhibitor also known as zepbound).

The study is organized by Scripps Research and aims to enroll 1000 participants.

I remember people screaming at Arab Americans in Michigan for "voting against their own interests" when they took an *actual* moral stand and refused to vote for a genocide enabler. Same folks are strangely quiet about Chuck Schumer openly siding with MAGA for what he believes is a moral stand.

There’s no data on this yet, but I can’t help wondering whether remibrutinib, a selective BTK inhibitor that prevents mast cell degranulation and was just approved by the FDA for chronic hives, might also benefit patients with MCAS or Long COVID.

Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.
