Unless I grievously misremember, I believe the first time I heard this song was when it was used as the credits for one of the AMV Hell videos from the late 2000s. AMV Hell 3 I think? I remember that number 4 used Welcome to the Black Parade for its credits.

The problem is that the former will always become the latter over time. The US used to have stronger state control over capital, so the capital class dumped money into propaganda to slowly, over the course of decades, shift political power back into their hands. You do not speak for all trans people. Harris did NOTHING to show support for our community. She parroted right-wing talking points and supported a genocide. No it isn't. The problem is not that he is breaking laws, it is what he is breaking those laws to accomplish. If Trump was breaking laws and norms in order to give us universal healthcare, expand voting rights, create a wealth tax, dismantle our military, etc. that would be a good thing.

Maybe, maybe not. It is literally impossible to know either way. What we did know at the time was that Biden was actively supporting a genocide, with no signs of stopping. And Harris made it explicitly clear that she was not going to break with Genocide Joe. No one is obligated to vote for genocide.
