Jane Russell repeatedly misgendered her own client during examination of a witness yesterday morning. She even did it again immediately after taking Naomi Cunningham to task!!

Dr Upton’s own KC misgendered him over and over again during yesterday mornings questions to a witness including misgendering him immediately after her outburst about NCs use of pronouns.

It would maybe have been better if they weren’t added as actual events in the complaint if they didn’t actually happen. Do you think it is going well for Dr Upton and NHS Fife?

Who can trust anything he says 🤷‍♀️

The notes from the internal investigation record patient safety was never an issue and that Upton admitted concerns were about events that might happen in the future. In other words he made them up.

There is also the fact that Dr Upton lied through his teeth in his complaint and under oath on the stand about the patient interactions so it’s difficult to trust the rest of his evidence 🤷‍♀️

Do you have any concerns that Dr Upton lied in his complaint and then lied under oath in an attempt to ruin the career of a nurse of 30 years standing? You don’t think that is cruel?

Are you not shocked by this? I am. Dr Upton has basically admitted he lied under oath at the first hearing. It doesn’t do the defence much good I’d have thought?

Their best evidence in the first part of the tribunal of that sort of behaviour was something her husband had reposted on social media and that she had stayed at a Trump hotel. There was no actual evidence provided of any views expressed by SP. I think that’s the trouble with this case. No evidence.

You are right…the nurse did say that but she said she had heard it second or third hand.

Fair enough. It seems from the minutes of the internal meeting that patient safety incidents were included by Dr Upton as incidents that could happen rather than actual incidents that took place. This is like to put some doubt on the rest of the evidence provided by Dr Upton I’m afraid.

From the notes of the internal investigation. It appears it was Dr Upton who was trying to smear SP by including in his complaint incidents that never happened so who can trust his word as to what happened in the changing rooms. This is truly shocking.

I think the article does refer to the changing room incident. I’ve just seen this on X from the notes of the internal investigation which suggests that the other incidents didn’t happen. This is quite shocking.

I think that is what she was suspended for and they didn’t add the complaint about the patient until later. I can’t really remember all the details from the first part of the case but I have a vague memory it was an alleged incident around Halloween and other staff on duty said it didn’t happen?

I think it was part of the internal investigation but they couldn’t find any evidence to support it. I don’t think that they have censored Dr Upton for not reporting it at the time though.

Would it not be difficult to report an incident that she says didn’t happen? I think (but I might be wrong) that nobody else can confirm it?

I understand what NC said but part of the earlier part of the case is that question of if the incident did happen why didn’t Dr Upton report it? So either the incident didn’t happen (which SP’s team maintain) or Dr Upton was negligent in not reporting it.

A vendetta against the male who included in his complaint that on more than one occasion she had politely waited outside the changing room until he had exited? Something he had kept notes on? In other words he was furious she wouldn’t validate him!

NC is questioning whether the incident happened at all based on the fact that it was only included in writing months after the original complaint and there is no corroborating evidence 🤷‍♀️
