In the medical academic field, a grand rounds presentation provides students with an opportunity to detail a client case, including their reasoning for selected assessments and treatment options. The presentation covers evidence-based practices, data collection, synthesizing research evidence in treatment planning, problem-solving, and related topics.

On Saturday, October 11, students from the Arizona College of Podiatric Medicine made the trek down to the PHX Arena in support of All IN(clusive) Night, a unique community event and fundraiser highlighting the incredible athletes of Special Olympics Arizona (SOAZ). In addition to participating in family-friendly activities, our students appreciated hearing inspiring messages and stories from SOAZ athletes, coaches, and supporters.

It's always a good time when we are with CCOM and AZCOM Alumni and Friends! Last Saturday, September 27, we reconnected at the Midwestern University Reception held in conjunction with OMED in Music City, U.S.A. - Nashville, TN! We were especially inspired by two of our Alumni, Dr. Julianne Sees (CCOM '07) and Dr. Pete Ajluni (CCOM '69). Congratulations to Dr. Sees for being awarded Mentor of the Year and Dr. Ajluni for his role as Chair of the Council of OMED! We are always in awe of the accomplishments of our alumni.
