It literally would've been fine if I got my medication on time, but sometimes it just doesn't happen and I pay a huge price for it.

I literally don't even like being on this stuff. I hate taking medications because I hate side effects so much. It is literally just the fact that I *have* to take it in order to not lose my mind because the sheer amount of pain I end up in. I also aggressively try to take as little as possible too.

Every time I get an email or read a post about how "AI is inevitable" and so you need to do X or Y to get ready for it, I screenshot it. I've saved them all. When the bubble bursts, I'm going to be a menace. I will be unstoppable. I will be taken to prison for the harassment I am going to do.

Didn't really get sleep last night because I ran out of my pain meds and my prescription got delayed, so I had to try to endure a night without them until they got filled today and... wow was that absolutely horrible.

Got them today so I got a tiny bit of sleep, but I'm still completely exhausted.

So for tomorrow night's stream, I'll most likely be working on Splatterworld's inventory screen, turning it from vertical to horizontal. Original screen and a mockup of what I'm aiming for:

Current progress on splatteworld: here's the retooled shop screen. Not final, but a big step. Item names are placeholder, but we're limited at ~14 characters max due to how inventory screens are laid out. But it's still a damn sight better than 8. Before and after attached.

The pain is still pretty bad as expected. Haven't really updated this thread since really nothing has changed positively or negatively. The rate of progress is just absolutely glacial, but I've come to expect that's just the nature of this kind of thing

Pain has been mostly manageable, but this morning there’s been definitely some kind of relapse, because this morning has been bruuuutal ughhhh.

I had a good streak of not complaining about it at least.

Hahahah I know what you mean. I figured I'd never get to play this and it would always just remain a curious mystery where we got to see some gameplay from that old VHS and some art assets and that's it.

This will probably be the first game I stream whenever I get better from surgery.

I thought Splatter World would be lost media forever and I'd never get to play it. I am SO excited to play a "new" Splatterhouse game once it gets translated (this kind of matters because it's an RPG)

The ROM for the unreleased Famicom RPG Splatter World has been released (in a thread on 4chan, of all places). I've tried it myself, and it does seem to be genuine. If it's a fake, it's a damn good one.

Probably my favorite art of Hitmonchan in anything ever. What a SICK full art card in Pocket. I can’t imagine a more me-coded card in this game than this, hahaha
