1. Human communication
2. Getting people in tech to believe that human communication is important
Weren't there like a dozen of those stories during COVID lockdowns?

I just notice that while LLM globally suck, human software engineer aren't all magicians super experts
Hey internets:
I’m looking for a software development tutor I can pay, preferably someone who knows Rust, teaching, and the bullshit of an AuDHD brain.
Willing to pay up to $75/hr.
I’m very serious & I’d really love to get 5-10 DMs out of this request from interested folks by Monday.
Plz share!
I would disagree too. The most recent models are starting to be interesting at explaining problems and nudging people towards the right pieces of knowledge.
But they still hallucinate and flatter the mediocre, so actual acumen with handling them is required
I won't try to defend vibe coding or whatever, but my experience is that a majority of professionals are far from this idealized silicon Valley cloud saas vision of the average SE

And then I meet a full team of senior engineers that failed to detect a memory leak in its app observability for months.
This would be incredible - Antivirals that target parts of the virus structure that is shared across virus groups. Works against both Ebola and SARS-Cov 🤯

That's no big deal, plenty of other fishes in the sea, but weird

Definitely. iirc 2025 was something like 12.000, previous years were over 10k. We noticed the inflation (including in ticket price). To the point we're probably going to skip 2026, it's overwhelming.

(Now I wouldn't suggest Dubai or Baku either but... let's innovate a little)
And hmmmm where are most of Silicon Valley AI engineers from ?

It's hard to be good at everything, whatever your size is. There will always be a more agile team being better at a niche feature.
(Now... saying database hosting is niche may be ...bold)

I think this not well enough understood by oops engineer to deserve a blog post, but ADHD makes it a... challenging task. I need to try
Building semantic indexes or whatever to make the database semantic all searchable Would be one-off task, so the cost would be worth in the semilong run.
I'll take it to the right teams. It's doable
