Move Tutors appeared in a lot of later games, but I think it's cool that they were added to this, because the TM List in FRLG was consistent with RSE, they wanted to keep a lot of the iconic Gen 1 moves in. Mega Punch, Mega Kick, Mimic, Rock Slide, Swords Dance, etc.

Pokemon is a series that really does mean a lot to me, so I want to move past my "Grumpy old man" status I feel I've been stuck in for so long, but so many of the decisions they make frustrate me.

Well, at least I'll still eventually have more Concierge to look forward to eventually.

I really wanted to like the starters but... I'm just not feeling it. Granted I've liked games where I don't like the starters, Gen 5 being the obvious example, but hopefully the evolutions are cool. Not sure how to feel about Gen 10 obviously, we know so little about it.

Full thoughts on Pokemon.

As alluded to earlier, if you want to keep reminding us of Gen 1, lemme fucking play them. If FRLG are the "Ultimate version" it wouldn't impact sales.

I have been wanting to give the Orre games another honest try... But I also want to play them in order, so I am baffled.

I feel like I had more hobbies and interests when I was younger, and didn't just have to be like "Here's a random thing I like." Ah well.

Okay, I cannot be the only one who read something completely different, and did a double take.

I have already bought Leaf Green, but I keep seeing people going "Ugh, it's just $20, just dont buy (insert meal from place here) for a day." and I gotta tell you.... not only will you never be friends with the people in charge of Pokemon, they will, never in their entire lives, even know your name.

"You should be able to buy a port out of convenience without being judged", and "These are lazy ports, and charging $20 for GBA when there are collections of GBA games out available that cost that much." are things you can both think, and honestly, you probably should.

All this said, will I get this bullshit... Yeah, it's likely. I do just kinda prefer playing games on my TV above all else. So I will probably be a sheep and buy it. And yeah, tons of other people will too.

Also, the fact that these cost so much, but won't even have the online functionality that the games on NSO have, and that does suck. I know they're weird about the idea of duplicating Pokemon, but in that case, just disable Rewind and Restore Points.
