There are more registered Dems than Republiklans in Texas. It’s definitely more purple than red. But they’ll Gerry the hell out of it and tell you it’s red. And many other “red”states are only red by maybe 10%. And some even have Dem governors. So the numbers don’t add up to deep red in many cases
