I'm so stunned by how f'ing great this film is, my brain is having a hard time finding the words.
It is EVERYTHING.
After the credits, I was still sitting there thinking to myself, "Do I want to buy a ticket for the next show?"
DO NOT WAIT FOR STREAMING. This NEEDS to be seen in a theater.

If anyone thinks that physical media is dying, go ahead and try purchasing a copy of the TRON or TRON LEGACY 4K discs. It was like trying to get Taylor Swift tickets (I imagine 🤷♂️)
So much so, Amazon doesn’t even have them listed anymore.
Long live physical media!

It was adorable!

Right after seeing LIFEFORCE in 70mm at the Academy Museum, we blasted over to Hollywood to catch CLOSE ENCOUNTERS in 70mm at The Egyptian!
Two completely different sci-fi films that, surprisingly, make a fun double feature!
As my friend and I walked into the theater, we overheard a guy ask his friend, “Did you get the Scream Factory 4K?”
Little did he know that I was seeing it with the person who colored the restoration. 😂
First time seeing one of my favorites on the big screen! Thank you, Academy Museum!
