It's 2026.

Puberty blockers have been banned on the basis of a fake study conducted by a generalist paeditrician.

Hormones for under 18s have been banned on the basis of a fake review conducted by a head injury specialist.

Both remain available for cis kids because that's 'different' somehow

The subtext is β€œI have no understanding of this that could go on record and make me look good”.

It’s even funnier that it was 23h only in USA and a few other countries, while 24h in most of the world… 😬

Honestly same. I’ve been using things less and less but I’ve entire social groups still there.

At least Facebook has been abandoned in my networks.

When things like this happen I always wonder about the training data that led to it… πŸ˜‚

An illustration of a kitten wearing an oversized jumper with just the head peeking out, saying β€œIt’s too big”. The illustration style draws the characters in full black strokes, on a dark pastel orange background.

It’s fine you’ll grow into it.

If the main reason you want people back working in your office is because you believe _serendipity makes the magic happen_ then… you’ve an org problem. People talking is people talking. Don’t force on all your personal preference for format(s) that feel best for _you_. Serendipity is just random.

I don't blame the driver. They get squeezed with less and less time per delivery. Even when I am at home and they dare going "you weren't at home!".

It's the delivery company.

Slow down, and make the delivery ACTUALLY happen FFS.

The faster package delivery got, the more likely it missed delivery.

We went from packages delivered in a few days, to two days, to next day, to within the day...

...while we went from all packages delivered, to getting "we missed you!" and "you weren't at home!" more and more frequently.

Here are some illustrations, from CΓ©cile Dormeau, that explains how it affects people in too many ways of the daily life, not just during periods.

Maybe we should all pick a random day, like April 2nd, log into our Xitter abandoned accounts and all write the same message:

Get off Xitter.

Then log out again forever.
