So far in 2025, three pedestrians and three bicyclists have died in Springfield as a result of vehicle crashes. That's more than in all of 2024. Zoe McIntyre reports the city is trying to do something about it with its Vision Zero Action Plan.

Stabbing victim described as 'complicated' but with a big heart
Phillip Farley, 45, was fatally stabbed on Feb. 9 in Springfield's West Central neighborhood. Friends described him as kind, yet complicated.
The man who was stabbed to death Sunday in Springfield, Mo., often shared he was afraid of dying on the streets & if his family would know what happened to him. He also worried if anyone would pray for him. Police have not yet announced any arrests/suspects. My story: sgfcitizen.org/government/c...
