Basically, i dislike modern leftist organizing from what I’ve seen at my local DSA.

Very little usability or accessibility outside of gamer subculture.

I prefer web forums, blogs, newsletters, etc and saving the chat platforms for quick decision making and asking questions

I shudder to think what that’s like for someone nontechnical, or elderly; never mind all the privacy and opsec issues of hosting your antifa resistance on a cloud computing platform that the users dont own.

I cant handle discord.

Maybe its neurodivergence, but if i join yet another server for organizing, and it has 50+ subchannels, everything is muted by default to prevent a flood of pings and i do not have the spoons to figure out which are the important channel.

Its a little more nuanced but i think they wanted the *safety* of nuclear weapons without actually building them.

They wouldn’t enrich uranium to that purity unless its to advertise that they CAN. Sort of like Japan: they could have a nuke within a year.
