Noodle tragedy is the true tragedy

I mean it is.. it’s the valknut the symbol the honoured dead.

It has also to my endless annoyance been stolen by the right wing.

I’m so tired

I Really need to get some magical light armour though so I can tank but also actually fly. Having to go “ok me and Saliq can go and scout but I need 6 minutes and a squire” is tiring

But when I can start with the bait and switch / menacing blow / manoeuvring blow shenanigans…. Oohhhhh yeah

Handing out disadvantage on enemy attacks(protector as long as I have a shield, a reaction, and their target is in 5’of me) and generally being very very tanky (AC 18 with my shield) is fun.

It got to the point in our last fight that by the end I just went “ and that is why you hire faerie bodyguards”

And everyone agreed.

Being able, at Level 2, to tank dangerous foes, while also keeping our glass cannons safe is great. Even better once I hit level 3 it’s going to get even more ridiculous.

Having created a faerie bodyguard for a D&D game (those episodes will likely start to drop on @cultteaanddice.bsky.social in December) I’m super pleased with how he’s working.

He chose red 1, red 2 got the memo… Geoff didn’t quite get it but given he has the most kills they have decided that Geoff must be a powerful name

Red 1 red 2 and Geoff came about because Grotmangla realised that imperial flyers tended to have particular call signs and that seemed to improve their fightin’ so he told his fellow looter flyers they were going to name themselves like humies.

He decided to name his dredd after the jungle fighter.

To explain.

The Ork who pilots the chef ov deff once got absolutely worked over by a member of the Astra militarism cooking corps. When you take on a Catachan who has to keep the others from jumping the meal queue you find out what’s what.

The Ork survived (just about) but he was so impressed

Warboss Killkrusha now has his base colour on. He’s mostly black armour will add some “camo” patterns on the red orange section. I need to work on the ork skin tone a bit.

I’m relatively happy with it so far.

Note, do I continue with my policy of snow bases? Or go desert?
