And this is just the beginning of whatever is to come.
Imagine what that map is going to look like in October 2050.
@cryoraptor.bsky.social
Lefty 20something with a short temper. Little tolerance for fascists, even less for liberals. I'm also a weather nerd so whenever a major weather event is occurring in the UK, I'll probably post about it.
And this is just the beginning of whatever is to come.
Imagine what that map is going to look like in October 2050.
Shouldn't it be <100m, not >100m? Sorry to be that pedantic arsehole
11.10.2025 17:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0You aren't on the left either.
18.09.2025 14:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Yes, this is an example of actual state repression, as he has been removed for not talking favourably about a friend of the president.
18.09.2025 14:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 01. Have any books in the Harry Potter series been prohibited by the state and made unavailable or illegal to purchase or possess?
2. Has J.K. Rowling's right to hold and express her opinions been obstructed by the state?
For the third or fourth time, this is not state repression.
Seems like East Asia can't catch a break
They've been record warm/hot seemingly for the past few years with virtually no downtime
This still isn't affecting his right to have and express opinions.
17.09.2025 12:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0All conflating state-sponsored suppression with the personal choices of private organisations does is ensure that pieces of shit like J.K. Rowling are free to be platformed and legitimise their hateful bile to the mainstream, with no threat of societal repercussions. This is what Pie doesn't get.
17.09.2025 12:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0How exactly is this a threat to anyone's right to hold or express an opinion?
Who private organisations decide to platform is their choice. They are not the state. They are not repressing anyone's rights. This is not the same as being abducted by the state, which has actually happened to leftists.
It's complete bullshit.
I can see his videos 3-4 years from now:
"ReformUK are making headway because the left have ignored their genuine concerns! All they want is to have a conversation about mass immigration and wokeness!"
I sincerely hope it's worth it for him to become a far right icon.
I wonder if Rowling has done anything to upset the trans community at all...
Even if she hadn't, it is the personal choice of private businesses to display or not display any titles of their choosing. This is not related to state-sanctioned suppression of literature.
This both-sidesing has cemented his legacy as a centrist shill and has completely alienated him from the left.
In four years time he will be shilling for the "concerns" of DeformUK that the left has "ignored" and his entire audience will be far righters. I hope it's worth it for him.
This video is The Death of Jonathan Pie.
He is no longer relevant in leftist discourse.
Enjoy your stupid prize of having a legacy as a both-sidesing centrist Tom. Your equation of someone who "hated MLK" with leftists who think it's not okay to use slurs is pathetic.
I hope it was worth it.
His death was the education. Encourage carrying and violence while spewing all this hateful shit and this is what is bound to end up happening.

By both-sidesing by equating leftists thinking it's not okay to use slurs and a man who thought a 10 year old should carry a rape baby, you condemn yourself to a legacy of being a centrist liberal. Enjoy your stupid prize Tom.
Whatever you think of Angela Rayner, can we all agree that she isn't working class?
She may have working class origins but as of the present day she is not a working class person.
Do not feed into an encourage the right wing's fantasy of class being a birth-dictated ethnicity. It isn't.
She isn't working class. Class isn't an ethnicity as much as reactionaries would like you to believe.
I agree that she is of working class origins and this is why the right wing hates her so much (because they see class as an ethnicity), but she is not working class as of the present day.
The Daily Fail has gone completely mask-off at this point. It's nothing but pure propagandist reactionary fearporn and it's readers know it - They just don't care because it fits their worldview that they are victims of "the woke mob".
The appeal of propaganda is living in your own reality.
That sounds about right.
Over a 30 year period that's a total of 150 miles, which is roughly in line as e.g. Heathrow is now closer to 61 - 90 Paris for 91 - 20 and Paris is now closer to 61 - 90 Bordeaux.
This rate will likely accelerate into the future as background warming accelerates.
UK 2025 SUMMER: THE HOTTEST IN HISTORY
With an average temperature of 16.1C and an anomaly of +1.51C above the 1991/2020 norm, Summer 2025 in UK was the hottest in climatic history.
Very dry conditions persisted specially in England.
Maps by Met Office
Given that since 2018 we're now going at a rate of one top five summer per ~four years, if anything it's statistically likely that 2003 will be out of the top five by then.
Realistically you only need one more 2025 and then a summer with properly extreme synoptics. That seems likely by 2033.
Pretty much zero.
I imagine it'll be out of the top five by 2050.
the imagrates are coming over to steal your jobs and sponge off the state!!!!!!1111
01.09.2025 19:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ah, much more pleasant.
Did 2025 end up beating 1976 in the CET?
The UK has just had its warmest summer on record, according to the Met Office.
The UK's top five warmest summers have now all occurred since 2000.
What about the infamous long, hot and sunny summer of 1976? That's been relegated into sixth place.
Blog coming soon...
So, it's the last day of summer, and the CET record is ridiculously close.
Current daily maxes at Pershore College, Rothamsted and Stonyhurst suggest the 1976 record is defeated.
We will see what happens. If 1976 is defeated in the CET, this will be a truly historic moment.
Good on ya
31.08.2025 15:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0But then I'm also young, have a fast metabolism, am fairly sensitive to heat and I can't stand central heating so I may not be an "average" inhabitant of the southeast
31.08.2025 12:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Here in the southeast in a reasonably insulated house I barely need it on at all at any point in the year.
Only maybe for a few weeks in January or if there's a notably cold spell between November and March would I actually appreciate it being on for a couple of hours in the morning.
