Watched The Invasion of the Bodysnatchers from 1978. The one with Donald Sutherland and a young Jeff Goldblum. Surprisingly good, solid acting, light on exposition so you get to learn by watching, not listening. Amazing VFX for the time. Solid 8/10.

The script works well, but the message of man's inhumanity being his downfall felt a little preachy. Still, seeing Lady Liberty at the end.. still gave me chills!
