This is the Perihelion Shawl by @deunynknits.bsky.social! It’s probably the most challenging and beautiful shawl I’ve ever made and I’ll treasure it forever.

Oh wow they’ve never bothered me personally! That’s too funny! The nearby murder is constantly chasing off other birds and animals, though.

This poor family was just trying to snooze. 😂 The magpie hassled them one by one until they moved to a different part of the lawn.

This is precisely where I started second-guessing my original plan for this shawl. I ripped it back to this point and went back to the drawing board. I am pleased with the result although it took me longer than I’d hoped. I do apologize for making you wait so long!

This is probably my least favorite progress shot. The stitches were rather crowded on the cable and I had trouble photographing from an angle I liked. But it’s still fun to see the difference!

Oh my goodness that’s such a nice compliment! If you’re interested may I suggest starting with a small swatch of basic brioche rib stitch to see how you like it? There are so many resources in both libraries and on-line for brioche rib stitch!
