digimon time stranger localization is so much fun, listening to the characters is a huge joy. although i always loved digimons very wonky translation veering sometimes into incomprehensible territory, its nice to finally see it done justice

Whenever anyone uses AI assets my first thought is "they didn't give an entire shit for their work, so why should i?" But when I see these incredible works that then use shat together TL it baffles me especially. You put all of these resources into your magnum opus and then don't even bother?

Why do indie devs put all their blood sweat and tears into crafting the most life changing experience that they want everyone to experience only to shit it out with AI or machine translation. Like what am I suppose to take away from this
