The Steam Nextfest, has actually been really cool. So far my favorites are Kung Fu Survivor which is vampire survivor but 80s kung fu movie inspired, Empire of Ants which is a RTS from the point of view of ants, and VA proxy where you can parry fall damage. good selection this year!
