the question of the night is… do i go out by myself and check out a new to me dance club?

I have been really busy with work lately and it’s really ramped up this week. So, today, I finally just shut the computer off and decided to have a few drinks… On most Wednesdays, my partner also drinks with me. But today he didn’t for some reason. Felt kinda weird but. I really needed it.

Today my massage therapist noticed that I’ve lost some weight!! 🥳 It’s been really slow going, but seems to be paying off!

Got to go out for a bit of live music to see my favorite artist, #Dravil. One drink charge at the door got me a beer and a snack of nuts and chocolate! Very tasty and very good music! 🎶

haven’t had hypomania symptoms like this for a long time so it really caught me off guard. but i guess now i get to explain to my therapist that my boyfriend is a trigger sometimes. oh joy.

the taxi, walk the rest of the way to the club…. it was fucking closed… because it was just a Wednesday. so in all my intelligence, I went to a convenience store and got a tea, then found myself another taxi and came home…. the end result of this completely useless excursion was 5/

I think he was probably out walking the dog or something, I don’t even know, but I was gone. Just jumped into the taxi for the half hour drive to the one club in Tokyo I remembered… talked nonstop to the driver, in Japanese even, just blabbing about whatever…. made it all the way there, out of … 4/

had an impulsive urge of poor decision making (reflecting on it now) … anyway, I saw my opportunity and decided to just flee… And I quickly changed my clothes and grabbed my purse and out I went. I decided to go to a dance club, so I walked down the street until I found a taxi and off I went…. 3/

Any time I tried to reply, it was irrelevant… anything I was reminded of and wanted to show him… barely gave me control of the remote and then 30 seconds in was taking it back and saying that what I wanted to watch didn’t matter because he had to show me this next thing…. at some point, I just…. 2/

So, I don’t talk about this much, which I’m trying to break the habit of… but, I’m bipolar2 and the other day I was drinking with my partner and all of a sudden I just had to go out… He’s a bit Aspergers (his words) and had spent hours so busy “showing me” he forgot I was there and a person…. 1/
