Today marks 8 years since the Grenfell Tower fire, when 72 people needlessly died because of corporate greed and deceit.
Every year, I am moved by the resolve, kindness and humanity of the community.
8 years on, we are still fighting for justice.

This illustration is a snapshot of ‘La Nueva Canción’ explored in Larissa’s article, using bright colours from the Mapuche flag. The portraits feature the inspirational Mercedes Sosa, Violeta Parra and Victor Jara. Alongside a protestor performing ‘un violador en tu camino’ in the background to represent the legacies of resistance in Latin America to this very day. The fist is a drawing of the Quilapayún artwork for ‘El Pueblo Unido Jamas Sera Vencido’ and eyes from Violeta Parra’s beautiful textile artworks.
