Cold Spring Records announced gorgeous vinyl and digital reissue of #MarcAndTheMambas live album Three Black Night Of Little Black Bites.
Coming in August 2025.
Pardon my absence, had to take care about myself a little bit.

re: DDOS attacks in your further replies, while I don't know the context, Miraheze has suffered some big ones in the last year, currently relying on Cloudflare protection.
In mid 2023 Miraheze was at the brink of shutdown, but it soon recovered and continued to work.
18.03.2025 06:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Fandom should follow content licensing rules. While I don't know how is situation on Wikidot, in majority of CC cases the source of content should be provided in case of copying/remixing, lack of credits is plagiarism and is eligible for takedown; Fandom's support is responsive in such cases.
28.02.2025 06:17 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0There's an old script that should convert Wikidot database to MediaWiki format, however it's a rare sight to see a Wikidot wiki forking and there's not much guarantee it will work.
Here's a more recent fork of it

Fandom still has to follow CC licencing, and since indie wiki has a strict one, incompatible with Fandom's version, plagiarism here is very much eligible for report and rollback.

Time for another batch of #softcellnews!
Starting with official #SoftCell newsletter: a new remix CD announced - no release date is given, but it's limited to 250 copies, so expect fast sell out!
This time "Light Sleepers" gets festive treatment, while the Moroder cover gets a touch of S'Express.
Miraheze is a 100% non-profit, volunteer run wiki hosting which refuses to rely on ads and cares about privacy of its users and autonomy of its communities.

One year since Regis and I hosted A Some Bizzare Evening at Centrala in Birmingham. A weird, wonderful and chaotic affair that saw the first public screening of Soft Cellβs Sex Dwarf video since 1982. Stevo was his usual baffling, frustrating, and very funny self and a good night was had by all.

The full article kindly shared by ZoundsAbound @ X/Twitter.
- aside from Australian tour in 2025 there might be something for US and UK fans, no details yet
Additional (and rather obvious, considering dates) bit spotted on Facebook says that reissue of Dave's In Strict Tempo album is moving to 2025.
- label restructuring at Universal, which was cited as the main reason behind constant delays of Soft Cell back catalog reissues, is finally over so hopefully we'll hear about new editions of Non-Stop Ecstatic Dancing and The Art of Falling Apart soon
20.11.2024 18:08 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Alright, the news!
Putting aside merch sale, let's take a look at the official Soft Cell newsletter:
- Marc and Dave are busy in the studio working on new stuff, which might become the next Soft Cell album
- additionally, Dave continues to work with Richard on the new, long awaited the Grid album
The wiki was started as one-man-project in 2019 and still developing very slowly, getting ready to the "grande opening".
Since wiki sites are open community projects, new editors and contributions are very welcome and appreciated!
Here we gonna post links to articles, trivia bits and about important dates, and will share interesting related posts by other users!
And since there's currently no official Soft Cell, Marc Almond or Dave Ball accounts on Bluesky, we'll also share their news and updates from other platforms.
