After following the latest bluesky discourse, my confidence in this platform is cratering hard. I'll get my FA up and running soon and post a link by the weekend.

Life has been busy, emotionally draining, and the shit just keeps coming. Every time I start to rebound something else gets me down.

Chat is Helldivers 2 good? Is the performance as bad as people are making it out to be? I really need a fun mil shooter with hoard combat.

I'm not proficient enough with using digital art suite tools so staring at someone else's work trying to unpack how they created various details feels like a child trying to dig up dinosaur bones and piece together a skeleton knowing nothing about what said dinosaur looked like.

Okay um... Multiply layer with a dark color, low opacity and erase with air brush to create areas of light...

Another layer of highlights... a low opacity screen effect?

...no no no, how'd they get it too look like that...

...How many layers did they use?

I will never understand the hubris of 'I could do that too!'

Half the time I look at my own work and wonder how I did it, feeling like I couldn't reproduce it even if I wanted to.

Looking at someone else's work makes my head spin trying to think of how they accomplished it.

I think the worst thing about burn out is that it always feels like its your own fault somehow, like there's something wrong with you.

It buries you, every unfinished task piling up over time until you feel helpless. Even looking back only 6 months ago I've fallen off so hard its unbelievable.

Brain is not braining. Art not arting. I wish all followers a very sorry.
