Drew this picture of the MCs of the book I’m working on. My 10yo daughter saw it and called me a “creep” because I drew a man without a shirt.

I have a question about the “resub” part of #RevPit. I have a manuscript I realize now I queried before it was ready. Would many agents be willing to look at a manuscript again after a developmental edit or should I consider it dead and move on to a different project?

The book I am writing now would be olive and citrus, with notes of underground cavern air.

My daughter requested “furry” macaroni and cheese for dinner.

Apparently the breadcrumbs on top make it furry, and I will never look at baked mac & cheese the same way again.

Also have kids with split last names, but one is an obscure German last name and the other is a more common British one. The last name difference has caused surprisingly few problems, I do think it’s an option more parents should consider.

I redrew a picture of the main couple from the novel I’m working on, changing the characters’ style to reflect the ancient setting of the book. I looked all over for the original picture from 2021 to see how much I have improved (or not) since then but I couldn’t find it.

I joined the patreon a few weeks ago, just in time to be able to feel like I contributed to this.

Realized that I technically have the word “airport” in a fantasy regency setting where airplanes don’t exist…

It just has an “F” on the front.

The relationship between Kasetris and her missing husband and how they rebuild that relationship after they are reunited drives the main plot of the book, but Kasetris’s relationship with Atzana, the girl she’s been raising for several years, is also complicated and important.

They do look a lot like dragons, don’t they?
