The 2026 Dublin Seminar for New England Folklife will take place on June 26–27 here at Historic Deerfield.

That will be the seminar’s 50th year, so there will be celebrations and reminiscences.

The topic will be how New Englanders have envisioned and shaped the future.

Up very early, and got a-top of my house, seeing the design of my work, and like it very well, and it comes into my head to have my dining-room wainscoated, which will be very pretty.

This was the order of events:

1. Paramount acceded to Trump’s extortion by paying a bribe.

2. Stephen Colbert calls his employer out for doing that.

3. Paramount fires Stephen Colbert for being honest about Trump.

4. Proving Trump’s bribe worked.
