Even as it is, I suppose I buy very few AAA games at full price ... the most recent three might be the FFT remaster (if that even counts), Dawntrail (granted, an MMO expansion), and Diablo IV? Hmm, maybe a couple of Switch things too.

I'm trying to get better about it (even without a price increase), but I have disposable income and I buy stuff speculatively and then don't get around to playing it much (granted, often not at full price).

I don't think I disagree with the thesis that AAA games could be priced higher. I do sort of wonder whether, if they were, overall games spending would change (increase?), or just shift.
