They do not require additional $ from towns / counties, except for temp assistance. States may fund Digital Archive Mgr as necessary.

Indeed they may even appreciate the chance to transfer materials and eliminate costs of housing/protecting/insuring materials, while still technically maintaining ownership.
Looking forward to a useful collaboration with local governments to make available current news and developments while preserving those community histories at risk of disappearing. Perhaps a 3-prong collab with Internet Archive?
