A great ride today. We(Sequim Wheelers) had 3 riders. Two of them were new to our program and one is a seasoned veteran.

Sand patterns, sunset, camping on the Oregon coast. Find beauty in nature.

Yao Japanese Garden at Bellevue Botanic Garden.

So much beauty helps me, temporarily, forget the ugliness of what's going on all around us.

Get out and seek a respite for a couple of hours. Gardens, art, a hike, sitting by a river. We need this more than ever.

An early evening walk yesterday. While the rural nature of Sequim is changing, it's still bucolic.

If we can't stop every once in a while, pause, clear our minds and see the beauty of what surrounds us, we will be swallowed by the ominous.

Today was warm enough to get a quick 19.70 mile ride in from Camp Creek trailhead to Spruce Railroad trailhead. Great ride, beautiful scenery, almost nobody on the trail.

Could be a good while yet
