Gentle reminder for myself and my fellow chronically ill, disabled, and neurodivergent creatives:

Our bodies and brains work differently, and we need to give ourselves grace. I know it's hard to accept that, I struggle with it, too. β€οΈ
1) Critical and artistic dress practices in material/visual culture---19th to mid-20th C.
2) Patterns that resonate across disciplinary boundaries (ie: right now I'm obsessed by 'circular' forms in art/science/semiotics).
I couldn't agree more----and have found myself similarly absorbed in the contemplative care/art/history/culture so evident in pieces like this.
