lost my last living grandparent yesterday. very glad I got to see him in good spirits around Christmas time and catch up a lot then. he was one week away from his 90th birthday and lived a good life. he also loved music, grateful for the country classics knowledge 💜 I’ll miss him.

Got acknowledgement that my letter was read, no rebuttals to anything (going to positively assume that this is at least some realization and to give me space), and my aunt is going to leave me alone. It’s a start 💁🏻‍♀️

Finally sent the e-mail with 30+ years of grievances and never being seen. It’s been a long time coming. #religioustrauma #estrangement

I should have started my blocking spree 15 years ago when it started in 2011 when one of my cousins had the audacity to message me telling me I wasn’t wearing enough clothes and “not Godly” in my drum corps rehearsal photos. Blocked and haven’t spoken to her or her sister since lol 😌
