Wow. Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. just single-handedly ruled that Congress doesn’t really control the purse strings. This is becoming a massive crisis for checks and balances and the separation of powers.

Violence is never the answer. We condemn the shooting of Charlie Kirk and all violence in any form. Our history shows violence only fuels division — justice requires peace.

Even Dr. King saw the value in violence. He used the violent nature of racists against them. Every peaceful march that begot police violence is a mark of shame on those respective communities.
