The Sandman has always been one of my favorite comic series, and I find I am repeatedly drawn to these characters over and over again.

I decided to draw Morpheus and Daniel as their respective incarnations of Dream on these sketch covers.

Working on speed and clarity. I’ve been slowly working through the record Skeletá by Ghost, as I want to really nail the vibe and feel of the bassist on that record for my own education and technical precision.

Art the Clown has been on my mind a lot lately. For an unforgivable sadist/murderer, he certainly is endearing and funny.

I wasn’t certain this piece was going to come together when I started it yesterday, but I am thrilled with the final outcome.
