We’ve completed 60 stations! 3/5 of the planned network! #Mesonet site #60 was finished last week outside of Mansfield, WA, on the Waterville Plateau. This site concludes our 2025 construction campaign. #wawx

We completed #Mesonet site #59 last week in Poulsbo, WA! This is our sole location in Kitsap County. #wawx

#Mesonet site #58 was installed last week! It rounded out the far southeastern corner of Washington in Anatone, in the shadow of the Blue Mountains.

We said goodbye to the old Puyallup Agweathernet location today as it was decommissioned. We had left it in until the end of growing season to help researchers with data continuity. The new Puyallup mesonet site remains to support the community.

We've created a list with our fellow state mesonets

A cold air pool has entrenched a layer of fog over eastern WA for the last two weeks. Stagnant air has led to daily temperature fluctuations of only 4F. Only a few days have seen solar rad over 150 W/m^2. We're holding out hope for sunny skies to recharge our struggling solar powered batteries.

Upgrades have been completed transitioning the AgWeatherNet site in Chehalis to the 55th Mesonet site!
