NC Senate looks to cut healthcare costs by reducing insurance mandates The state Senate is considering a bill this week that would restrict government mandates for health insurance plans.

This bill does absolutely nothing to lower healthcare costs. It does, however, provide future GOP legislatures the excuse to roll back contraceptive care. NC women have suffered enough under this legislature - that's why I voted "no" on S24. #ncga #ncpol
