I try to stay away from politics but this crab eating a grape is very important.

Playing Whack-a-mole in real life right now, where I am the mole and the hammer is news about the state of the world. Every moment I poke my head outside is nervous at best and terrifying at worst. 🙃

So, what the fuck's up with AAA? You can fill out an online form for roadside assistance but there is no easy way to check on the progress of your request. (Is there any way to check?) You just have to sit and wait and pray someone is coming to help you. The WORST sort of liminal state to be in. 😒

Wishing a very happy Twin Peaks day especially to those of us who routinely look back and think, "What the fuck was that about?"

If there is a moral to this dream, I caren't to analyze it. The nastiest asshole in Whoville knows what you're doing and does not care about the nuances of your intentions. Be nice and do good things anyway. 6/6

1. Immediate chaos broke out as half of the world's population died. (We were not the only ones visited and gifted.)
2. No one knew precisely what the Grinch considered naughty or nice. The dream dissolved into rapid-fire snapshots of people trying to be nice and inadvertently being naughty. 5/6

I unconsciously knew that you absolutely did not want a "naughty" gift. Who would, knowing the Grinch is a giant that knows your every action?

Fortunately, I received a "nice" gift. Unfortunately, I shortly learned that "naughty" gifts brought violent deaths, which meant two things. 4/6

...It was the Grinch. The fucking Grinch had picked up the hotel in one whole piece, deposited a pile of presents within, set it back down and then fucked off elsewhere. We found that everyone in the hotel had been gifted (burdened by?) a package with their name and "nice" or "naughty" label. 3/6

When I left my room to investigate, I found other guests doing the same. They directed me to look out the window, where I saw not the remnants of a storm but a stories-large figure receding into the distance. A giant had accosted the hotel - a giant whose identity I instantly recognized... 2/6

Allow me to regale you with my dream last night, in which a tremendous storm shook the hotel I was staying at. The storm came on fast and hard, to the point I was certain the building was collapsing while I panicked and rattled about the bathroom. To my surprise, the building - and I - survived. 1/6

The desire to be informed and the desire for blissful ignorance are deeply at odds these days. Feels like even 2 minutes on a news site to get "caught up" is immediately overwhelming. 🥴

I love seeing these intimate sneak peeks into the lives of others - even more so for good friends. It's like being there with you. 🥰

Chances are likely I won't often post here, but what else is new? At least I'm lurking on a platform that isn't a total shit show. 🤡

PC mainly, and to a much lesser extent lately, Nintendo. I do a lot of social gaming, parallel play and multitasking that PC makes extremely convenient for me, unlike a lot of consoles. I do feel like I've missed out on Xbox and PS exclusive games, however. :\
