Experiencing UT again and again after so long has reinvigorated me. I'm working to make big personal changes, strengthen bonds with those around me, and come back to creating, all with as much love as I can muster.

Tonight's anni stream was something else entirely. It was so weirdly beautiful seeing so many "what ifs" come alive in-game. The dialogue on the many possible paths of creating, and the importance of speculation and fanwork thru a lens of collaboration between creator and audience, was so poignant.

I was in a really bad way this year. Old terrible thoughts and habits came back in fullswing, and I felt undeserving of living on.
Then had the privilege of watching a streamed first-time UT playthrough, and it had brought back a lot of the warmth I thought I'd long lost.

I can't remember too vividly all of what I pulled from first experiencing UT a decade ago, but what's stayed is a pivotal collection of creative and social experiences. And everything I've seen of both UT and DR since then has left me with more and more hope and warmth each time.
