After losing Za’Darius Smith, could the Eagles add more Jihaad Campbell snaps on the edge? When asked if Campbell could see some edge snaps on Sunday against Minnesota, defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said, "it’s possible." The Eagles only have four edge rushers on the active roster.

Nakobe Dean wants to play. The Eagles are down another edge rusher, and maybe their best course is to get their best players on the field. Will Jihaad Campbell’s workload on the edge increase?

For Villanova’s Matthew Hodge, a long wait is almost over: ‘It’s everything I’ve worked for’ When Villanova opens its basketball season on Nov. 3, it will be the Belgium-born Hodge's first meaningful game since March 2024.

Matthew Hodge’s freshman year was “taken away” from him. When Villanova’s season starts, it will have been nearly 20 months between meaningful basketball games. The long wait is almost over.

Eagles vs. Vikings in Week 7: Here are the numbers that matter The Vikings have an elite pass defense, but the Eagles, despite their flaws, aren’t like the offenses Minnesota has faced so far.

Yes, the Vikings have the best pass defense by EPA per play in the NFL. But the opposing quarterbacks they've faced offer some necessary context.

A look at some relevant numbers ahead of Eagles-Vikings:

A.J. Brown tries to clear things up about meeting with Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley Brown avoided the topic Thursday, but he followed up with a post on X Friday. “I said ‘I don’t recall’ because it got painted like there was tension and [Barkley] had to step in. That's not true."

The offense has a lot to fix. Until then, every made-for-reality-television moment between the star receiver and Super Bowl MVP quarterback will be magnified:

Moro Ojomo's busy night, Jordan Davis fades Jalen Hurts and the Eagles offense have struggled as the Birds drop their second-straight game.

Moro Ojomo played a career-high 62 snaps then was wrapped in ice.

There was a domino effect with Jalen Carter's absence.

For just the second time all season, the offensive line that started the game also finished it.

After the defense got ‘out-physicaled,’ Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean believes ‘you can fix anything’ In 2024, a bye-week reset changed the course of the Eagles' season. Could another "reality check," in Zack Baun's words, be on tap with nine days before they take the field again?

“We talk about it, but we got to go out there and be about it,” Cooper DeJean said of playing physical.

The Giants’ offense, ranked 28th in scoring, pushed around and punked a banged-up Eagles defense that may need a reality check, Zack Baun said: www.inquirer.com/eagles/giant...

Cam Skattebo scores, then does a backflip. The Giants, with the NFL's 28th-ranked scoring offense, are demolishing a banged-up Eagles defense.

NFL’s taunting crackdown miffs some Eagles, whose team has seen more infractions than others The Eagles lead the NFL in taunting penalties so far this season with three. “It’s just a different type of penalty that we’re seeing and it’s getting called more,” Nick Sirianni says.

Eagles players liked the result, but didn’t think Puka Nacua’s taunting penalty that helped them during their Week 3 comeback win should’ve been flagged.

Jackson: “You’ll know if a motherfucker is taunting you.”

It is hard to ignore. But it’s the nature of a sport that plays 162 games and gets minimized into these micro moments. When players aren’t performing, the margin for error evaporates.

Vic Fangio gave an unprompted take on the NFL’s new kicking ball rules. Eagles kickers could only laugh. The Eagles have surrendered a 50-plus-yard field goal in each of their first five games, hence Fangio’s feelings. Several factors have played a role in longer field goals, though.

Vic Fangio’s unprompted kicking balls rant last week made Jake Elliott and Braden Mann laugh.

“It’s funny to us because some people just think we’re corking bats,” Mann said.

Kicks are getting longer, but not because of the balls, Elliott said.

Saquon Barkley's 72% snap share was his lowest of the 2025 season. It was lower than that a few times in 2024, but only during multi-score games.

Penalties, called and uncalled, proved critical in Eagles’ loss to Broncos Players, coaches, and referees offered their takes on how some of Sunday's pivotal moments played out.

Penalties, called and uncalled, loomed large Sunday. But the Eagles have only themselves to blame that controversy arrived at the end:

Eagles probably deserve to be ahead by more than just seven at the break and would be wise to score on the first possession out of halftime to gain more separation on the scoreboard.

Right call on the incompletion, but gotta like Jalen Hurts' willingness to throw that up for Jahan Dotson.

That very easily could have been a punt. Eagles throw a go ball to DeVonta Smith on third-and-17 from their own 22 and get 52 yards. The next play they throw to AJ Brown in the end zone and get a flag. Then Jalen Hurts hits Dallas Goedert for a two-yard score. What a sequence.
