I'm Caal and I specialise in Fantasy :D

I love drawing creatures, telling stories and I do more and more TTRPG stuff since a year or so.

Show of hands: who would be interested in a not-social media based directory website of artists who pledge to never use AI in their process?

Is this something you would share around to everyone you know? Something you'd very much like to be listed on?

That would be great. I see so many people get scammed by AI prompters and noticing only after the work is done.

You know what? I didn't even think about it (but I was thinking about having a main trans character potentially).

I have already ideas coming up for the knight and the dragon lady. I'll see if I can get an interesting story :D

And selkies, why not? :D

But I would avoid making a similar story to the Swamp Man. So, I need to find an interesting idea that does not revolve around similar themes.

Need to think and search a little more about selkies in general 🤔

At some point I thought about following them a few years after the events of the Swamp Man from someone else's pov.

Maybe like "there's the story of a man who disappeared in the swamp, and sometimes you can see him wandering around".

But I don't have a specific idea that seem interesting yet.

I got the urge again.

The urge to draw a new story.

No idea what it's gonna be. Obviously there will be fantasy and creatures because I can't help it and it makes me happy. Or maybe androids? Mh

We'll see if my mind comes up with a nice idea 🤔

Guardian 🌿

Tarot Card Illustration, Death of the Major Arcana with my original D&D Character, Lich Zeno of Netheril. The palette is Black, white and mostly shades of blue. The textures contrast with the realistic figure. Zeno is a skeleton wearing a medieval metal helm, gauntlet and gorget, with a long cape draping down his shouders. He's riding a white horse and carring a banner that flows with the wind. Behind him the silhouette of a medieval city on fire. Death Card meanings are: transformation, endings, change, transition, letting go, release; (reversed) fear of change, repeating negative patterns, resisting change, stagnancy, decay. All of these are themes that greatly resonate with Zeno's story, which is one of destruction, loss and eventually change and Freedom.

My Half-orc barbarian OC: Jarko. He has brown hair with shaved nape. 4 long braids are tied up high up at the back of his head and dangle around.
