These people are just terminally online. They've convinced themselves that a conservative podcaster with a niche college audience was somehow a universally known and widely loved figure.

Most folks at the Emmys probably only learned about Kirk when their kids explained who South Park was mocking.

Bill! I agree that the proposed WH ballroom is gaudy and tacky. No surprise, given the source of the idea.

I question only whether it's fair to say that "Vulgarity is endemic to democracy." Please note that fearless aesthetic innovation is also endemic, and that produces great art and design.

Poll shows decline in belief that Blacks and Asians face racial discrimination Meanwhile, about three in 10 people said DEI increased discrimination against white people.

the idea that β€œDEI” is to blame for racist assumptions about the ability of nonwhite people and not actual racism is such a perfect example of racecraft www.nbcnews.com/news/nbcblk/...

It's really weird to demand accountability from a NYC mayoral candidate for a deadly NYC shooting rather than the current NYC mayor, an ex-cop who campaigned on a "tough on crime" platform and promptly got indicted for crimes

The smart question would be "Why are you considering a pardon for Maxwell, who partnered with Jeffrey Epstein in sex-trafficking young girls?"

@amymarkopoulos.bsky.social and I have been hard at work cataloguing evidence of erosion of our anti-corruption systems across the executive branch. And today we are releasing a two‑part project at @justsecurity.org that documents just how these federal oversight safeguards are being dismantled.

One troubling aspect I've seen in the discourse of even well-meaning people around Trump and Epstein is an assumption that there's a bright line between pedophiles and rapists who attack adult women.

There is not. Most rapists prefer young victims, even if they prefer adult sex partners.

The thing is, you could drive yourself nuts imagining what the DOJ is holding on Trump and Epstein, or you could simply believe the many victims.

I have no doubt some senior Democrats are in the Epstein Files and I want them exposed as well as any Republicans.

They should all burn and anyone who gets in the way of that should too.

Donald Trump groped me in what felt like a β€˜twisted game’ with Jeffrey Epstein, former model alleges Stacey Williams says the ex-president, whose spokesperson denied the allegations, touched her in an unwanted sexual way in 1993, after Epstein introduced them

The *best* case for Trump is that he was friends with Epstein, did a little light sexual assault with Epstein, but didn't rape underage girls. In which case he's just having the DoJ protect other people who did. Which would be impeachable.

That's best case.

We were in London about a decade or so ago, and the food was excellent in the restaurants we tried based on Google review-sourcing. (not so in Glasgow.) I've never had anything better than swill in any sports stadium in the U.S. I cant think of a reason why the fan-slop would be better in UK stadia.

It is worth noting that the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" is incredibly unpopular. I haven't seen a single credible poll with support above 40% of adults.

And that's just if you ask people, "Do you support the OBBB." If you poll them about the individual components, it's 30+ points underwater.
