I get that a lot of people think I'm a simp for the man because of comments or rebuttals that I say, but when you're in the trenches experiencing things for yourself, it really gives you a better perspective. I don't always have the best media literacy, but it does make me chuckle at hot takes.

So, kinda like the 08th MS Team novel hatred, if no one reads them, they can't see the actual message that's being conveyed to the reader. Instead it's just something like, "oh, that's a revisionist title" because a handful of reviewers said so, despite the actual theme being nothing like that.

Despite actively working on three novels of his (TAG, 6 Stains, How Deep is Your River), it saddens me to think that most people probably won't take the time to read them simply because it's "Fukui." It makes any sort of rational discussion on the man impossible because of no localized titles.

I think out of all the things people have said about Fukui, Tomino sorta hits the nail on the head when it comes to a lot of his "detractors" out there. This is part of his essay from the book HOW TO BUILD Harutoshi Fukui that I've been translating to provide background on the man.

Huh... Iwasawa pretty much confirms that those aren't the suits from Frozen Teardrop in the Gundam Fan Club interview and are, in fact, separate, new models. Wheeee~ no one is going to believe/accept that one. It's just Katoki being Katoki, yet again.

Oh, wow... Cluster is once again digging DEEP into the obscure for mobile suits. The suit on the bottom left is the Karyovyn from the tabletop RPG story featured in RPG Magazine Vol.3, specifically the story "The Legacy of M'Quve"

When all is said and done, it doesn't matter whether it fits or not. It's a unique story for Gundam. Could've been a smidge shorter, but...

Which is funny because if they knew anything about Gundam, sub arms weren't new and neither were joint covers. But those didn't fit the narrative, so...

I also think they alt-UC crowd used Ohtagaki word like it was gospel and that it somehow applied toward animated portions. It's still a mess.

I didn't have sun blisters on my bingo card today, but here we are... I haven't had these since I was like five or six. I knew I had a bad sunburn on my back, but apparently going for a run when the sun was going down did not help the situation 😭 sunscreen he damned I guess.

I translated the last chapter of the series for shits and giggles today since it was all color. Kind of risks running a foul with the legal version, but it'll probably get nuked in the future anyways.

I don't know how to quantify my skills with Photoshop nowadays (I can recreate pretty much anything in it), but I've gotten it down to a rhythm when it comes to editing manga nowadays. Scanning ye old fashioned way, slow as molasses in these times 🤣

Gundam Thunderbolt, Gundam Eight, Vanadis Heart and Preventer-7 all translated and shopped today. I have no brain left... Two more installments left to translate tomorrow. I swear I should just do Ace entirely at this point lmao. Hire me Kadokawa! 🤣
