I was on Silent bookclub meeting today. It was actually a big one - more than 10 people. Quite nice!

Also I bought the used rechargeable battery for 6 V and it worked, so I contributed, feeling proud

Also we now have Arduino one and Raspberry Pi thing, so now there are more things. Raspberry pi will provide us an interface that will send signals to pins and then we can have left and right button, which is cool!

Ok, today we were writing code that asks servomotor to rotate and even though we asked it to rotate to 5 degrees, it was rotating all the way! So that is how I learned that myservo.detach() is a not smart thing to use in loops :D

I personally also don't get the difference between servo motor and stepping motor, and AC and DC motors. And also we wanted to know what do we need to lower the voltage, if we have 9v battery, but motor needs 6v

so today I was on a group meeting where we were powering the motor for car. when connected directly to the power of the right voltage and Arduino board, motor didn't run, but when we built a scheme with L239D, it was working. We didn't really understood why.

breaking news: to spend time with new people, I can go to the meetings with people

I spontaneously went to the meeting about building a car on arduino today and I understood what is going on! and even ordered batteries to support the thing we are building. two other guys brought their home kits, some stuff was provided by campus, so it was cool!

oh, yes, it is totally ok, I just like the idea to spent time learning together 😄 we can share notes on what we do and so on
