this has basically been my take for awhile - it's not just that everything is bad, it's that we have completely removed the concepts of quality, reliability, usefulness/utility of any kind, etc. from even the profit motive, and human workers and consumers are no longer even nominally important

Ai boosters are misinformation peddlers who have been lying about this since 2023 when they lied and said gpt 4 tricked a Taskrabbit into solving a captcha (it didn’t do this btw). These lies have enriched other liars and killed people and they are responsible

Specificity in a character makes them feel real and grounded, which then makes their emotional arc ALSO feel real and grounded, and thus... relatable. Additionally, it reinforces that so much of what we feel, what we struggle with, find purpose in, is universal.
