Experimented with the default watercolour brushes in Fresco and ended up taking a Skill Share course on how to use them halfway through the piece because I had no idea what I was doing 🤣🤣

He is surrounded by an array of materials and tools used for making paper umbrellas. The tatami room he is in is flooded with light of the late evening sun. Did a fashion life drawing workshop today. I loved having a play with different media and combining them in unexpected ways. The PM session with inks was especially fun - it was so freeing to let the water and ink flow and do its own thing. (And I didn’t erase anything the entire day!!)

Three piggies. Piggy number one in the foreground is lying in a star shape flat on its back with an open green book covering its face. The cover reads ‘THE ART OF PIGGING OUT’. Beside it is a red apple with a bite taken out of it. Piggy number two is to the right of the first, pointing down at it. Piggy two also has a book which it hold under their arm. The title is mostly obscured… ‘Jam Journal vol IX’ it seems to read. The last piggy is in a chef’s jacket with gold trim stands behind Piggy one. It holds a large peach pie above its head triumphantly.

It’s been a busy month! Haven’t sat down to draw in a while (or had a desk to sit at as a matter of fact 🥴)
