And there we have it. Exactly what I thought happened. I hope all the doomsayers can see we're all just human. MCG is just a small group of nerds making fun stuff, and not everyone is perfect all the time. It was such a nothing issue. Now let's all go back to doing what we love and chucking dice!

The post was likely scheduled. Its Sunday. MCG is not some huge corporation. Its just a handful of nerds and support staff. Im not saying the post isn't bad. But they're just people and they work Mon to Fri. Not everything had to be done "instantly". Patience. The internet had ruined us.

Raising eyebrows is fine, and calm reactions like yourself are the right way to go. This is obviously a bad move on MCG's part. But peoples comments like, "This is obvious abuse of...", and, "you DARE pull this!?", are not just raising eyebrows. That's just drama llama's. People need to simmer down.

Maybe by some, i would agree. But there are some where it is very much that way. I just think its important to not get all riled up before MCG reacts, and some are.

Everyone wants to immediately jump on this with an "aha gotcha!". But, multiple people work on MCG's social media, likely Kate wrote the announcement article but then someone like Liv did this post not realizing it. They schedule these things ahead, and it's the weekend. They'll take it down soon.

On one hand, I love having friends that are willing to do crazy things and really live life. They've held some really unique get together.

On the other hand they are suddenly scarily close to seriously planning my Quinceañera because of an off hand joke I made about never having one...

I know its stupid of me to feel like that. But whenever I see a creator promote their "RPG game" or "TTRPG game". Its like needles in my brain. The G in RPG already stands for Game. You're saying game twice. I know it doesn't matter, and my brain is stupid. But u can just say RPG.

I feel like there's still a lot of people that eat that stuff up for some reason. Ive never understood the worship of random rich people from another country personally. But my house-boomer follows it religiously and still buys those things.

I have many American friends and people I care about. As a Canadian I do NOT hate Americans. But the USA as a country is broken. The friendship and trust our countries once had may never be fully healed. If you can allow one crazed dictator to rule, it will happen again. Fix yo shit, we miss you.

My faith in humanity has been at an all time low lately. I think we've all been finding it tough lately. But events like @gamesdonequick.com AGDQ honestly restored me a little. Fun games, great people, support for important charities. Ty for something positive in what feels like a dark world.

Over the Holidays I've allowed myself time to actually sit and play video games. Over the last few years I just haven't gotten enjoyment in games beyond fast and simple like a team shooter or rogue-like. Sandbox games kind of ruined me. But playing Expedition 33 has cured me of that.

Or, instead of immediately dismissal and hostility towards someone that may still not fully understand WHY Generative A.I. is bad (since it's being adopted so fast everywhere else). We try to educate them about it and show a more positive process so they can do better in the future.

Dats me.
