New Affinity software's UI/UX feels nice, and I can't wait to start using it. BUT... it's pretty dang buggy right now. There's a couple of serious issues they need to work out before I could use it on a professional project.

Holy crap, Canada Post actually delivered my new ALIEN rpg books! I mean.. it was supposed to be signed for and instead they just dropped it at my neighbours house instead of mine... and the package looks like it's seen a war. But that's still better than they usually do!

Ok, vacation is officially over. Time to get back to it! Thankfully my current project work is straight up Art right now! So it's something fun to get back into!

When I'm hired for a layout & design job, and their rough or edited work is in something simple like Google Docs, I breathe a sigh of relief. Especially being cloud-based and live updating. But if they send me a word file... (sigh), I know it's gonna be extra work, especially if they do updates.

Dear rpg companies. DO NOT ship via Canada Post. Its extra expensive, takes forever, they go on strike too often, and has a % chance it just doesn't show up. Please use literally ANY other shipping method.

This is legitimately an awesome setting. I LOVE the sandships, and it's got a unique vibe to it. Ill be doing an overview video on this once recover from this Jetlag.

If you're thinking of buying that world of darkness bundle from @humblebundle.com , don't. It's a coupon for Renegade Game Studios website for the download, which has proved to be one of THE MOST frustrating experiences to actually get the books from. Their site is an absolute nightmare.

When my grandfather was teaching me to build stuff as a kid. He gave me this wonder advice to make sure your parts always fit, "Measure once, keep it a little too long, then cut it a bunch of fuckin times till it fits". lol.

I know it's not the normal advice. But that stuck with me to this day.

This is it. The last few hours. If you don't mind digital only, for $90 you could get the digital all in that's basically EVERY CYPHER BOOK EVER! All the old (still compatible) ones, all the new ones, special decks, everything. Do you know HOW MANY books that is!? That's a steal and a half.

I've worked closely with MCG numerous times now on things, and frankly from everything I've seen, they're some of the best in the industry for just letting creatives be CREATIVE. They support human made art, and really let anyone they work with really explore. Some of the nicest people I know.

I say don't worry about it. It's obvious to anyone worth anything in community that you play and love the hobby. Anyone that'd say anything like that is just a wanna-be pundit that wants to make themself feel tall by trying to push others to be small. A vocal minority at worst.
