Takopi's Original Sin is the darkest piece of media I've ever seen, and I don't think anything else is even particularly close. But it's not just dark for the sake of being dark, or "edge." It has really strong writing and thematic ideas. Definitely one of the best shows I've seen lately.

Do you ever feel like you put too much value into "things?" Like, I won this Pokemon VGC event one time, and the prize was a Raichu card that said "1st Place." I have no idea where it is now, and I feel like that makes me more sad than it should. I shouldn't care as much as I do...but I do.

I want to get a male Milotic in a Nuzlocke, so I can name it Murphy (Milo Murphy's Law)

Memory can be so terrifying if you think about it. Like, there are so many experiences and moments that I enjoyed, and even ones I didn't that just no longer exist in my mind, and never will again.

I "beat" the game (made the credits roll). Definitely feel like I got a "bad" ending, but I was very content with it. It's just letting nature take its course.

I hate my sense of direction (of lack thereof). Playing MK World Free Roam, I keep finding Peach Coins and I'm like "I can get that with a feather, but there's no item boxes around, lemme go get one." By the time I find one, I'm lost (and also distracted by a new P Switch I found)

Every day is a fight between myself and my mind.
Me telling my mind what I would like to do, and it telling me what's actually going to happen.

I've been playing Outer Wilds lately. I really WANT to like it. I see why it's so beloved, but it feels like it's not for me, despite appealing to some of the aspects I enjoy the most in gaming: puzzles and exploration.

At some point in my life, school has stopped activating the neurons in my ADHD brain that make me feel like "this is fun. I love learning new things." Now everything is either easy and uninteresting or difficult and frustrating. No in-between

All because of these limitations I put on myself. I could look up the solution, or I could just start playing new games before finishing Reborn, but my mind won't let me, at least not right now.

I hate my mind sometimes. I want to play Pokemon again, specifically the interesting and unique fangames/romhacks out there, but I want to finish Pokemon Reborn first, but I can't figure out an overworld puzzle in that game, and I don't want to look up the solution, so I'm just stuck.

I played Four Souls last night with Parker and I lowkey loved it 👀

Hot take: I liked the White Lotus finale

Thinking about old friends tonight, and relationships I've let fall to the wayside. I should reach out to people more.
