I created this image and submit it to the 2024 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta competition. I didn’t win the poster contest but was asked to submit the image for merchandising. Attendance was estimated at over 830,000 visitors.

She was shy, but allowed me a few moments to photograph her.

Going through some of my 200,000 images (lifelong pixel wrangler) and found one of my favorites of Farrah Fawcett. I was a staff photographer at Pepperdine University in Malibu and had the privilege of photographing her for a day.

Working from a reference, I created this in Procreate on my iPad with an Apple Pencil. This took many hours but I really like the final image.

A quick study I did when I was working on my Freda portrait.

12”x12” portrait, fused glass using Bullseye glass.

Starting into textiles! I created this image as a reference for a 12”x12” by 18mm thick fused glass portrait. The image spoke to me so much I decided to create some tests, printing it on textiles, which I’m really pleased with. More progress is underway.

Submitted to Corning for consideration to be included in their 45th edition of New Glass Review. This is a drop vessel with a cold-worked glass sphere base, 9” tall.
