Officially caught up on War of the Adults! Man what a fun one. If it keeps the steam it's got going now and doesn't somehow burn itself out, this one could be a classic.

I'm now reading War of the Adults. It's been a banger so far. It's about Japan becoming a meritocracy where good deeds give you higher status but people are gaming the system to get good social status. The MC is a dude who was in a coma from 2010 to 2025 and is functionally a teenager still.

I um... I didn't post about Gokurakugai because I accidentally got too invested and caught up within 2 days... Alma is peak. I genuinely hated that I caught up because I really want more lol

Caught up finally on Sakamoto Days! Ended up really enjoying it. It took a sec to really get it rolling but once it did, it didn't stop. Heisuke stayed my number 1 from his first appearance and only went up from there. Great manga.

Very close to being caught up but I gotta say... I fuckin love this manga now. Genuinely so much fun. Top 5 characters rn are...

4. Gaku (I love watching him fight)

Best character so far.

Next on my read list: Sakamoto Days! It took me AGES to get to this one because I'm lazy but some characters made me go "Oh shit! Hype????" and immediately wanted to read it.

Finished Gurren Lagann last night. Those damn lights really do be stars huh? Genuinely just as good as I remembered it being. Such a legendary story.

God it's been long enough for GL that it's almost entirely fresh to me. I love this. This is so fuckin cool.

Next on my read list is another mecha that it's been ages since I last touched! I'm gonna read through it in full and then watch it and it's movies (same as what I'm doing with Evangelion)! I'm excited to experience this story again for the same reasons I was with Eva!

And that's a wrap... God what an experience. The Evangelion manga was a really good time. I knew I'd love it, because I already respect EVA as a series, but this manga was so extremely worth reading for me. I'm gonna rewatch the anime and all the movies to finish out my time with EVA.

The 01 not being shadowed or shaded in this scene goes so crazy. It really makes the Ultraman feeling stand out a lot more.

The further I get into the Evangelion manga, the more I go "Wow... I really love this." Maybe it's cool as fuck to love others and keep going despite it all.
