Decided to replay some old Bloober games before I get to the Silent Hill 2 remake. I think it's a lot of fun even if there isn't much to it but the house and visuals are really cool. Very fun to play with someone to laugh at the scares with.

Absolutely they can, but this is like the best I've come to expect.

I had missed this one live but I did see Jennifer English's speech and it was great too.

I personally absolutely loved the game, but I agree anyone who takes issue with others not agreeing with their personal tastes are insufferable, and this game in particular is bringing out a lot of them. They make me feel like I have to like defend being an Exp33 fan but "one of the good ones."

BUT I did get 3 and 4 set up to work on my Steam Deck so those are ready to go any time too

I can't speak to the remake yet but the horror of the original version is like a very slow-burn style creepiness throughout. If you played Alan Wake 2 you'll be fine unless they like completely changed up the scare style to be constant jump-scares which I kind of doubt?

Man I finally played the original recently and my plan was to play the remake right after but now I think I want to also play 3 and 4 first, I can't decide.

I only finally played the original version, decided I want to play some other games before I get to this one but I can't wait, the original was SO GOOD.

YES!! I'm definitely getting the physical version eventually because this game is worth double dipping on.

You can get all the endings in one playthrough but one is definitely missable. I found it really fun though, it basically requires activating a hard-mode of GMSilk.

Silksong's sales on PC were massive compared to on consoles, it's like where the vast bulk of it's player-base is. Can't speak for KCD2's distribution across platforms but it makes sense that a lot of PC players are voting Silksong.

It seriously feels like such an amateur production, I have a hard time watching it because it gives me 2nd hand embarrassment.
